After 9 weeks
During the last couple of weeks a lot had happened. Everyday I feel like I'm getting better. Currently I'm fully able to do my day to day tasks. I've been volunteering at a COVID 19 vaccination center for the last 2 weeks. This required me to walk a bit more than usual however it didn't feel like I was worsening my fracture rather on the contrary I feel like my foot is healing faster.
Note: I still haven't tried to run/jump or do activities that would put a considerable load on my foot.
Symptoms
- Mild occasional pain when walking or when the foot is in an awkward position.
- No pain on rest
- No swelling
- Marked muscle hypertrophy since the second opinion.
Day to day life
- I started doing upper body exercises (Bench press and sit ups)
Mental health
- My mood is considerably better than the month I was not able to walk.
- My friends especially my housemates have had been a great strength.
Medication
- I'm currently taking none.
- However I'm taking calcium, vitamin C and Omega 3 supplements.
Currently waiting for my next follow up and X-ray
